The Sugar River State Trail The Sugar River State Trail is 23 miles in the length and encompasses 265 acres. The trail runs between New Glarus and Brodhead, but also goes through the small centers of Albany and Monticello. The trail is used for biking, hiking and snowmobiling, depending on the time of year. Wildflowers, birds and a variety of tree types are seen along the trail. Access: Access the trail in New Glarus, Brodhead, Albany or Monticello. |
