Miracle was a rare white buffalo that was born in 1994 and died in 2004. She was considered to be the first white buffalo calf born since 1933 and was seen as extremely important in the religious beliefs of many American Indian tribes. The pasture where Miracle resided is open to the public, as well as a gift shop and museum commemorating the white buffalo that brought joy to many people.

Housed in the 1912 Prairie-style home, the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center is home to a changing exhibit gallery, as well as permanent exhibits that offer a broad history of the area.
