In 1911, Frank Lloyd Wright began purchasing the land where his maternal grandparents once lived. Over the following two decades, Wright managed to buy the 600 acres surrounding the estate and today it serves a historic site and museum where guided walking tours are given. Visitors enjoy exploring the historic buildings, including the Unity Chapel, which was built in 1886. The Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center houses the tour program, the Taliesin Book Store and a small cafe. Address: 5607 Cty. Hwy. C Spring Green WI USA 53588
